This service upgrade was part of a larger renovation in Denver. The old panels were missing covers, massively undersized and not properly grounded.
Normally we will design the electrical service, but per Denver code and with this type of service, we had to have an electrical engineer design it.
We coordinated and confirmed proper design with the electrical engineer. We also had to communicate and coordinate with Xcel Energy to confirm that the the additional demand on the client's system would not overload Xcel's transformers.
Once all was confirmed and approved, we demo'd the existing service and installed the new service!
